Thanks for being honest, ScorpsFan. I have to admit that the songs that I have heard from Eye 2 Eye were not very good. Wasn't Peter Wolf the lead singer of the J Geils Band? I agree with you, though, Older bands should stick to what made them popular in the first place. I sure hope Iron Maiden doesn't try to "update" their sound on the next album!

Welcome Scorpsfan. been a fan myself since about 1981. Got into them listening to Tokyo Tapes and then Blackout and the rest is history. Seen them 3 times and even got to see Uli once. They just showed some footage of their recent concert here on my local cable station (SF Bay), and damn they look old. Heard it was a good show though. Didnt like the one new song I heard but oh well.. haven't liked much since Love at First Sting. |

Nitro4040 - LOL!! Yep they are getting old. Unfortunately the only one who is aging nicely is Rudolf (and maybe Matthias). For some reason Klaus (to me anyway) doesn't look to healthy. I really wish I could have gone to the concert this year ... I would have loved to have seen Motley Crue. I have never seen them live yet. |

I remember when i was in a band in the early '80's, we used to practice in this warehouse. we'd take breaks and crank up the Scorp's "Blackout" while we did things we shouldn't have been doing (chemically that is). I recently bought it on CD and it took me way back. Now I'll have to go out and buy all my other vinyl on CD, including "Animal Magnetism", "Love Drive", and "Love At First Sting". If I have too much money and I don't have anything to do, I might buy that new thing they did but I'm afraid of it. Only heard one cut and...well, I'm worried about the boys! Tell me more about it! |
