I actually really liked it too. I don't think the network gave it a fair shake either. I mean the first season of the X- Files was a kiss away from cancelled too but they decided to let it develope for one more season to see if it took hold, and it did. I think TLG would have to.

I never actually saw this series, but I was curious about it. I strongly disliked The X-Files except for the lighthearted, stand-alone episodes, and that looked like the general vibe this series was going for. |

It did have a sence of humor lacking in the X Files. While the first episodes were not stellar this show had real promise had they bothered to develope it and the charecters. Not only were the stories fairly good but you were garenteed a giggle here and there. Also the Lone Gunmen charecters were easier to identify with, that alone made the stories more enjoyable.
Ah well. |

i used to chekc the ratings every sunday and found that this show did do a helluva lot better than much of the programs on the WB network.
In fact, it was in the top 60 i believe...and shows like Buffy and whatnot are still on the air. |

I know all my friends at college who loved X-Files hated those lighthearted episodes, but I thought they were the best ones too. Especially that goofy one which is half cops and half X-Files.
Not that I watch that show much otherwise. I've never been a big tv person, I probably watch more than ever now that I don't have a job currently and all, but I still don't watch a huge amount. |

The Lone Gunman rocked. I was so pissed when they were killed off in the last X-Files episode.
FOX doesn't give any shows enough time to catch on. The killed The Tick too quickly. |
